The Cause:
Even after securing Hajj packages, many accredited pilgrims struggle with unexpected real-time expenses. This initiative acts as a financial safety net (Gap Cover) to assist vulnerable pilgrims with crucial upgrades to double rooms for health/privacy, nutritious meals, daily taxi and transport fares, and vital medical or pharmaceutical requirements while in the Holy Lands.
The Divine Reward:
Relieving the distress of a pilgrim is highly beloved to Allah. The Quran explicitly highlights the virtue of providing financial support and provisions for the journey of Hajj:
“And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is fear of Allah. And fear Me, O you of understanding.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:197). Furthermore, the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us: “Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a困難 (distressful aspect) of the difficulties of the Day of Resurrection.” (Sahih Muslim 2699).
