The Cause:
The 5 days of Hajj are physically demanding, and the heat in the tent city of Mina can be intense. We are raising funds to buy and distribute essential water, fresh fruit, hydrating juice, refreshing drinks, and wholesome meals directly to pilgrims in need. Best of all, SAHUC representatives and pilgrims on the ground will personally hand your donations to fellow Pilgrims, ensuring your charity reaches those who need it most.
The Divine Reward:
Allah commands us to honor and feed those who come to His Sacred House. The Quran states:
“…And proclaim to the people the Hajj… That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor.” (Surah Al-Hajj, 22:27-28). Feeding a fasting or weary pilgrim in the sacred precincts during the days of Hajj holds immense virtue.
